Our history class brings the past to life, inspiring students to explore the events, people, and ideas that have shaped the world. Through interactive lessons, engaging projects, and thought-provoking discussions, students uncover the connections between history and the present.

This years History is Introduction to Government! In this class, students will explore how the United States was founded and how our government works today. They will learn about the foundation of the US government, including topics like revolutionary war, and US constitution, while discovering the roles of city, county, state, and federal governments. Through discussions, activities, and real-world examples, students will gain a better understanding of their rights, responsibilities, and how citizens can make a difference in their communities.

Recording and Lighting Technology Class

Students interested in Musical Dance Theater are required to enroll in Theater Acting as well, as these classes are designed to complement each other. Together, they provide a complete experience in performance arts, developing skills in acting, singing, dancing, and storytelling. Signing up for both ensures students gain the most out of this dynamic curriculum.

Our Shop Skills and Set Building class offers students a hands-on opportunity to learn the craftsmanship behind theatrical production and creative design. This engaging course introduces students to essential age appropriate tools and techniques used in woodworking, painting, and construction, all while focusing on safety and teamwork.
Students will design and build functional, visually striking sets for school performances and projects, developing skills in problem-solving, spatial awareness, and collaboration. From constructing sturdy frames to adding artistic touches, they’ll gain practical knowledge that bridges creativity and technical expertise.
This class is perfect for young builders and creators eager to bring their ideas to life while contributing to the magic of storytelling on stage.
When there aren’t sets to create, students will channel their creativity into building practical and fun items, like chicken coops and sheds, which they can sell to the community. This adds a valuable entrepreneurial aspect to the class, teaching skills in planning, problem-solving, and resourcefulness.

This fall, students will embark on an enchanting journey into the world of ballet through the timeless holiday classic, The Nutcracker. Our ballet class combines technical training with the magic of storytelling, giving students the opportunity to explore the choreography, characters, and themes of this beloved production.
Throughout the semester, students will master foundational ballet techniques, learn key movements from The Nutcracker, and develop performance skills. The class will focus on building strength, grace, and poise while fostering creativity and confidence.
As part of this immersive experience, students will actively participate in rehearsals for a seasonal showcase inspired by The Nutcracker, allowing them to shine on stage and share their progress with family and friends.
